By purchasing a digital product, you agree to these terms together with any product-specific licence terms shown on the relevant product page.

Where a product-specific licence differs from these general Digital Product Terms, the product-specific licence applies to that product.

1. Digital products

Products covered by these terms are supplied digitally, for example as PDF workbooks, journals, reports, diagnostics, templates, guides or similar downloadable materials. No physical product will be delivered unless this is explicitly stated on the product page.

Digital content is normally made available electronically after successful payment.

2. Individual-use licence

Unless the product page expressly grants broader rights, purchasing a digital product gives you a:

non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own individual use.

You may download the product to your own devices and make reasonable copies or printouts for your personal use.

Purchasing the product does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or other intellectual property.

3. What an individual licence does not permit

Unless you have received a separate organisational, educational, facilitation or commercial licence, you may not share or redistribute the complete digital file to other people.

You may not upload the product to shared drives, public websites, repositories or file-sharing services; resell or sublicense it; reproduce substantial parts for distribution; or use an individual licence to provide the materials to groups, clients, workshop participants, students or employees.

You may not substantially reproduce, adapt or repackage the material as another product or service for sale.

If you wish to use a product in a team, organisation, classroom, workshop, facilitation process, consulting assignment or other professional setting, please check whether the relevant product includes such rights or contact:

info@behaviouralfutures.com

4. Product-specific licences

Some Institute of Behavioural Futures products may be intentionally designed for professional, organisational, educational or facilitation use.

Where broader use is included, the applicable permissions will be described on the product page or inside the material.

Those specific permissions take precedence over the individual-use restriction above.

This is important for you now because you shouldn't have a blanket rule saying nothing can be used in workshops if, for example, you later sell Facilitator Cards or organisational diagnostics precisely for professional use.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, copyright and other intellectual property rights in Institute of Behavioural Futures products remain with:

© Kristiina Paju / JEOS Oy / Institute of Behavioural Futures

or another identified rights holder where applicable.

All rights not expressly granted under the applicable licence are reserved.

The licence permits use of the product; it does not transfer copyright ownership.

6. Prices, payment and VAT

Prices are displayed in euros unless otherwise stated.

Applicable VAT is charged or handled according to the customer's location, status and applicable tax rules.

Payments may be processed through Payhip and its payment-service providers. Their own payment and privacy terms may also apply.

The total price payable will be displayed before completion of the purchase.

7. Delivery of digital content

Digital products are normally delivered electronically immediately after successful completion of the purchase, unless otherwise stated.

The product is considered delivered when it has been made electronically available to the purchaser.

If you do not receive access to a purchased product or experience a technical problem with the download, contact:

info@behaviouralfutures.com

8. Right of withdrawal for digital content

Consumers purchasing online generally have statutory withdrawal rights under applicable Finnish and European Union consumer law.

For digital content supplied electronically, the consumer may lose the 14-day right of withdrawal when:

  • the consumer has given explicit prior consent for delivery to begin during the withdrawal period;
  • the consumer has acknowledged that beginning delivery means losing the right of withdrawal; and
  • the required confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement is provided in a durable form.

Where these legal conditions have been satisfied, and the digital content has been made available immediately, the statutory withdrawal right may therefore no longer apply.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by law.

9. Defective digital products

These terms do not limit statutory consumer rights relating to defective digital content.

Digital content must correspond to the agreed description and applicable legal requirements concerning functionality, quality and other relevant characteristics. If a product is defective, unavailable, corrupted or materially different from what was promised, please contact us so the issue can be investigated and, where appropriate, remedied in accordance with applicable consumer law.

10. Educational and professional purpose

Institute of Behavioural Futures products are designed to support learning, reflection, strategic thinking, foresight, facilitation, organisational development or related professional activities, depending on the product.

They do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical or psychological advice.

Futures-oriented materials, scenarios and interpretations are not predictions or guarantees of future outcomes.

Users remain responsible for decisions made using the materials.

11. Diagnostics and tools

Diagnostics, assessments and frameworks are designed to support structured reflection and analysis.

They do not guarantee a particular organisational, strategic, professional or commercial result.

Their usefulness depends partly on the context, information provided and judgement of the people applying them.

12. Artificial intelligence

Some Institute materials may have involved artificial intelligence as a supporting tool in drafting, editing, translation, visual development or other production activities.

AI-assisted material is subject to human review where appropriate.

Further information about the Institute's approach to AI can be found in the Privacy, Data Protection & AI Use policy.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JEOS Oy is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from the purchaser's interpretation or use of educational, reflective or strategic digital materials.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated for future purchases when products, licences, services or legal requirements change.

The terms applicable at the time of purchase govern that purchase unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

15. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under Finnish or European Union law.
